Overview

Expected pay for this position is $35.33 - $41.57/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: Coordinates educational technology services, training, and support for the College. Promotes the integration of educational technology into the curriculum through workshops, training, and assists with simulated learning. Coordinates with the OSF Information Systems Services Department (ISS) the installation, configuration, maintenance and repair of hardware and software used by faculty, staff and students. Collaborates with ISS and other appropriates department to ensure network security, LAN and EPIC accounts. Trouble shoots software and hardware problems for students, staff and faculty. Serves as administrator and resource/support for the learning management system and student information system and other software used at the College. Monitors the College's compliance with software licensure. Coordinates and maintains the College website in conjunction with College Administration and other support and academic staff members. Serves as facilitator/manager for technology projects as assigned by the President.
Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters of Science in Educational Technology or related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in providing educational technology support and/or instructional design.
Knowledge of web design, multimedia applications, educational software, and emerging technologies used for teaching and support services.
Other skills/knowledge
Strong project management, verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge and skills using the current Microsoft Office software, internet, e-mail, setting up and using web pages, and willingness to learn learning management and student information software used by the College.
Communication and interpersonal skills for interacting effectively with students, peers, and others to provide an environment conducive to student learning.
Strong analytical skills necessary to determine the feasibility of using new/emerging educational technology for the College of Nursing and troubleshooting computer problems.
Must be able to identify learning needs, and develop education programs based on those needs.
Experience with Access or Crystal Reports and SQL queries to understand use of databases.
