JobSummary:This position is for a Program Manager to coordinate and facilitate activities related to launches and ramp up of new business opportunities for the operation; especially automotive and complex programs. The main objective for this position is to take new business opportunities fromconcept to reliable & standard production flow while meeting customer required capabilities and profitability targets. This person will coordinate, oversee and be engaged from capability analysis, presale, process trial and process verification through all manufacturing areas (Cast, Extrusion, Fabrication & Packing). This person will work closely and be a Liaison between Quality, our Commercial team and key Customer contacts.

Pay Range: $108,000-$123,000

Required Education/Experience:
Bachelors' degree or 12 years relevant experience. Otherwise, Associates' degree or unrelated degree plus 6 years' relevant experience.
Minimum five (5) years of industrial / manufacturing experience
Minimum three (3) years' experience executing launch processes.
Fluency in English is required.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Exposure to the aluminum extrusion industry is a plus.
Exposure to the Automotive Industry a plus (Tier 1-3)
Extrusion, Fabrication experience a plus
Familiarity with metals (aluminum preferred) and fabrication processes, exposure to lean manufacturing, and proficiency in technical writing.
Familiarity with PMBOK, basic program management discipline skills
Proven ability to effectively drive projects and prototype orders through a manufacturing organization and execute successful hand-offs.
Must have good interpersonal skills.
Manage program Scope, timing and budget.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible as Program manager of the program launch from inception to a (3) month post launch period.
Work as a liaison between Hydro's Business Developmentpersonnel,Hydro manufacturing facilities, Product Development Engineers and the customers to clarify RFQ requirements, SOW (scope of work), timing and budget tracking.
APQP - complete program execution.
Capacity Planning / Asset and Plant selection
PFMEA / Control Plan / PPAP
WIS / SOP / Standard Work
SCM (supply chain management) / CS (customer service)
pVolecity / Verible margin post mortem reviews
Lessons Learned
Responsible for a successful hand off - post (3) months period to local plant team(s). Conduct studies to determine the feasibility, costs, or performance benefits of new equipment
50% travel required, domestic and international.
