Job Description

Seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to perform a variety of electrical maintenance tasks to ensure smooth and safe operations in an industrial setting. Responsibilities include performing breakdown, corrective, renovative, and preventative maintenance, locating and determining electrical malfunctions using test instruments, and repairing malfunctions by replacing fuses, defective wiring, and cleaning or repairing motors and controls. You will apply knowledge of gauges, wiring diagrams, schematics, and properties of electricity to troubleshoot disabled or malfunctioning equipment, plan procedures, develop sketches, select tools, equipment, and materials best suited for the job, maintain communication equipment and wiring, diagnose and remedy furnace burner problems, and climb on buildings, towers, and equipment for inspections, repairs, and installations. Safety is a top priority, and you will follow all safety procedures including energy control (lockout/tagout) and utilize JSA’s. Additionally, you will operate forklifts, use various hoists and lifts, and drive a pick-up truck while implementing Reliability Roadmap objectives in your assigned area.
