Job Title: Diesel Mechanic
Job Description
The Diesel Mechanic will handle the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various diesel engines and systems. Key responsibilities include adjusting and replacing air brake systems, wiring heavy trucks and trailers, repairing diesel engines, and fabricating with wire feed and stick welding. Additional tasks involve working on hydraulic pumps, DPF and exhaust systems, truck tire replacements, and diagnosing small engine issues. The mechanic will also manage medium-duty trucks and electric trailer brakes, and must be A/C certified for R-134A systems.
