Job Title: Sanitation Helper

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Sanitation Helper is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of compounding tanks and equipment, adhering to strict FDA guidelines. This role involves verifying weights, following precise procedures, using the CIP system for equipment sanitation, and maintaining accurate records in the sanitation logbook. Additionally, the helper will manage the transportation of ingredients using a pallet jack, assist in setting up production, and enter data into computer systems, verifying information for accuracy. The role requires lifting up to 55 pounds throughout the shift.

Hard Skills

+ Experience in compounding/sanitizing in pharma, food, personal care, or chemical environments

+ Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Oak Brook, Illinois.

Work Environment

The work environment involves exposure to fumes, odors, and temperatures ranging from 80-110 degrees, which can create a steamy atmosphere. The role requires wearing white lab coats and water-proof steel toe boots, for which a credit is provided for purchase. The Compounder Helper will work closely with a small team of compounders and another helper in a compact department filled with kettles and tanks, adjacent to the production area. Interaction with production supervisors and packers is also part of the role, situated in the manufacturing environment of the Corporate headquarters
