Job Description

As a Service Technician, you will be traveling to various manufacturing companies across Central Illinois to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair cranes. Your responsibilities will include crane inspections and performing preventative maintenance on cranes and equipment. This role is customer-facing and requires using electronic documentation to document work done and update service records.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Peoria, Illinois and some days remote.

Work Environment

You will be working independently, once trained, performing service at customer sites on lift and aerial equipment. Local commuting within an hour of Peoria to manufacturing facilities/work sites is required. You will often leave from home and return home each night, but periodically, you will have to go to the Peoria shop for equipment or trainings. Expect a 40-hour workweek, with some overtime occasionally. You will need to provide some of your own basic tools and will be part of a team of 35 techs in the Peoria area, although you will work independently after training.
