ABOUT THE ROLE

The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing infrastructure integration projects as part of the M&A Integration Team. This role reports to the M&A Program Manager. The Infrastructure Project Manager will ensure HUB standards for quality, timeline, and budget are met and strategic synergies are achieved as a result of infrastructure integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning

+ Develop project plans and timelines to ensure the efficient allocation of resources and completion of infrastructure integrations

+ Create and manage the project plans in collaboration with the M&A Integration team and business stakeholders

+ Work with third-party vendor partners, business stakeholders, and other members of the M&A Integration team to ensure the appropriate resources will be available when and where they are needed

+ Collaborate and communicate with other project managers and leaders to coordinate cross-project initiatives and activities

+ Perform integration closeout activities as they relate to transitioning to steady state

Project Execution

+ Conduct full life cycle project process management, including gathering/qualifying requirements to ensure quality is addressed through all phases of each project

+ Drive and track progress of internal engineering work streams for designated infrastructure capabilities (e.g. messaging, desktop, network, telephony, hardware procurement, Citrix and application packaging, data and application migration)

+ Identify and communicate issues, risks, and/or changes throughout the infrastructure integration process in accordance with PMO governance and methodology

+ Manage activities related to transitioning the acquired business to a steady state within HUB

Continuous Improvement

+ Facilitate continuous improvement of M&A integration processes and deliverables aligned with performance excellence initiatives and through execution of a post-mortem feedback loop

+ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to create a better, faster, easier integration experience for each M&A deal

Team Leadership and Management

+ Demonstrate Operations and Technology Leadership Behaviors (one team, build trust, customer driven, future focused, innovate daily, and be curious) in all actions and ways of working, and coach their organization on the behaviors

+ Fulfill additional duties as required

Key Success Measurements

+ Create and implement infrastructure integration project plans and timelines that are in-line with M&A Integration resources available to ensure minimal variance during project execution

+ Ensure acquisitions are integrated into HUB within the expected quality, timeline, and budget

+ Meet CSAT expectations for stakeholder satisfaction related to the integration experience

+ Eliminate all internal escalations to Executive Management team from seller stakeholders or regional leaders

Qualifications

+ Well-grounded in project management and has a solid understanding of how the M&A integration process works

+ 3 – 5 years of project management with experience in delivering large scale programs

+ Bachelor’s Degree in business management, engineering, or related discipline

+ Experience planning, managing, scheduling, and directly supervising resources on project activities

+ Experience working in a matrix organization, effectively communicating, collaborating, and executing with teams not under direct control

+ Bringing new acquisitions into a buyer company, familiar with the M&A process steps

+ Delivering multiple (6 or more) complex initiatives concurrently while demonstrating a high level of organization and attention to detail

+ Working in insurance, brokerage, and/or financial services industry experience, particularly with highly acquisitive M&A Integration activity

+ Consulting experience is a plus

+ Understanding of the infrastructure integration process

+ Agent of change mentality: actively seeks and recognizes opportunities to change processes or behaviors to create more value for Hub through integration process improvements, or technology changes

+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

+ Ability to travel up to 10% of time.

+ Authorized to work in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ, as well as the law in Colorado: The expected salary range for this position is $120K to $130K and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions.
