We currently have an immediate need for the following: Job Title: SQL Developer Location: Lake County, Illinois Compensation: $53.00 per hour, Paid Time off, Company 401k contributions, Health, dental, and vision insurance. SQL Developer Duties and Responsibilities+ Maintenance & execution of trending platform using SQL programming.

+ Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
+ Suggest new queries.

SQL Developer Requirements and Qualifications+ Experience of SQL coding.
+ BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
+ Excellent understanding of SQL work bench.
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
+ Strong knowledge of VBA macro development is also preferred.

+ Top 3 skills-experience with coding, trending platforms (TIBCO, Qlik) and experience in handling customer business requirements
+ Pharma or regulated important? No
+ Diverse BG what does that mean, smaller environments or enterprise? It could be from anywhere handling large amounts of data. The ability to adapt to different volumes of data would be good. Financial industry experience is good.
+ High volumes of data? We’re dealing with blind records, lines and lines of records. It’s all a customer complaint intake process that gets translated into records
+ Strong SQL skills are required also strong in writing SQL queries also desired? Yes, so Data Analyst who is strong in SQL Workbench that’s what we use also RedShift. SQL coding with experience in SQL Workbench and RedShift.
+ Trending platforms how do we see this on resume? Yes, TIBCO or experience in Qlik and even PowerBI is good or SAC, anything like that the top ones are TIBCO and Qlik
+ Team writes requirements and expectation of DA is to reinterpret what those requirements mean and translate. They are not gathering requirements
+ Team size and location? Mostly remote, US based time zones. This role is timeline driven, and the ability to work together with team is required.
+ CST? Anywhere in the US is fine.
+ 2 other developers on same team are they doing the same thing? Yes, very similar. Current ones came from Tech industry.
+ They use SQL Workbench to query RedShift database
+ Coding assessment during interview process? No, we can determine skills based on conversation during interview process
+ Trending platforms, can you elaborate? Yes TIBCO would be ideal but not find but might find QlikView. More likely to find QlikView and even PowerBI. Those are 3 we look for and things like Minitab we want but not required.
+ Anything that stands out on resume? Yes, things that exemplify teamwork, communication skills beyond traditional developers
+ Bachelors or MS in computer science or related subject required? Also electrical engineering, IT or even data analyst
+ Macros development? NTH not required, any diverse array of programming like Python in addition to SQL would be attractive.
