Job Description

Description We are offering a role for an Accounts Payable Clerk, located in Lombard, Illinois, United States. This role will involve managing accounts payable tasks in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account reconciliation, invoice processing, and data entry, and will be comfortable using software like Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

Responsibilities:

- Process and prepare financial and business forms for the purpose of checking account balances, facilitating purchases, etc.

- Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the finance director

- Help oversee and manage individual accounts

- Create, send, and follow up on invoices

- Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets

- Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct

- Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees and/or clients

- Assist the financial director in creating financial reports on a regular basis

- Adhere to the company’s or organization’s financial policies and procedures

- Answers question and provide assistance to stakeholders, customers, and clients as needed

- Attend finance department and company-wide meetings, sometimes assisting with financial reporting to managers and senior executives Requirements – Proficiency in account reconciliation is necessary for this role.

- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

- Ability to conduct check runs efficiently.

- Must have prior experience in coding invoices.

- Proficiency in data entry is essential.

- Must have experience in invoice processing.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

- Experience with Oracle is a plus.

- Familiarity with QuickBooks is desirable.

- Experience with SAP is beneficial.
