Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced partnership professional to lead our partner initiatives in public sector. This role involves developing and managing strategic alliances with key partners, driving joint go-to-market strategies, and ensuring the success of our public sector engagements.

Key Responsibilities

+ Partnership Strategy: Work with sales leadership to develop and execute PagerDuty’s public sector partner strategy.

+ Partner Development: Identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships with public sector partners, contractors and system integrators.

+ Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with internal teams and partners to develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies, driving awareness, adoption, and revenue growth in target accounts.

+ Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations, ensuring alignment of objectives and mutual success.

+ Sales Enablement: Work closely with the sales team to develop and deliver training, tools, and resources to support the public sector sales efforts.

+ Market Intelligence: Stay informed about public sector trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks.

+ Performance Metrics: Track and report on the performance of strategic alliances, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

+ Event Participation: Represent PagerDuty at public sector events, conferences, and industry forums to promote our solutions and expand our network.

Basic Qualifications

+ Experience: 4+ years of experience in developing and managing strategic public sector partnerships.

+ Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the necessary certifications, contracting vehicles and processes, and technical requirements necessary to execute against the company’s Public Sector strategy. Relationship Building: Trusted relationships with key stakeholders Proven ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with partners and stakeholders.

+ Strategic Thinking: High degree of natural curiosity. Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategies.

+ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior executives.

+ Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions, including sales, marketing, product, and legal teams.

The base salary range for this position is 126,000 – 193,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.

Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
