Insight Global is looking for a Laboratory Technician to work for a biodiesel plant in Seneca, IL. This group is responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of the current production while also validating the quality of the incoming production. The main responsibility of this person will be to quality control inspections and do the chemical testing in support of the production operations processes at the biodiesel plant. Day to Day this person will be pulling biodiesel samples from the production labs and testing these samples. This person will be performing analytical testing utilizing many different laboratory instruments. After this person has done the testing they will be doing the data entry.

Compensation:

$25/hr to $30/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

2+ years of experience working in an operations lab environment and testing samples

Comfortability with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for Data Entry Bachelors degree in a science related field null
