The Warehouse Associate for Leica Biosystems is responsible for supporting our warehouse activities, including Inventory Accuracy and Productivity.

This position is part of our Gurnee, IL Warehouse. and will be onsite. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be a part of the Warehouse Team and report to the Alana Fuchs responsible for all warehouse functions. If you thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced role and want to work to build a world-class organization-read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Support Inventory Management and Productivity

+ Participate in Daily Management

+ Work Collaboratively with external freight carriers and internal functions

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Minimum 6 months+ experience in all warehouse functions of shipping.

+ Basic Computer Skills

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Hazardous Shipping Certification (for shipping 49CFR and IATA)

+ Fork-lift Experience (for picking, receiving, and stocking)

+ Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, work is in a warehouse environment setting. Lighting and temperature are adequate.

+ Standing/Walking 90% of the Work Day
