Job Description Summary

The PCS Services Finance Manager will be responsible for all finance activities ($1B global business). This includes partnering with the PCS Services GM, developing global financial budgeting/reporting, managing capital allocation decisions, and supporting sub-segment operating mechanisms. The role will lead an FMDP role.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

+ Partner with PCS Services and Consumables GM to (1) develop new financial processes to establish operating rigor to manage a $1B+ global services P&L and (2) manage capital allocation investment returns/performance

+ Lead business analysis to identify profitability growth opportunities and impact go-to market strategy for PCS Services businesses. Help develop rigor and automation around PCS franchise key impact metrics

+ Lead business analysis to identify cost productivity opportunities and other margin expansion strategies

+ Provide consistent financial visibility across multiple stakeholders (Global Services team, regional services, PCS sub-segments, etc.) to enable proactive risk and opportunity management to deliver business financial commitments. Ensure continuation of standardization and automation of key financial reports and packages

+ Ownership for developing estimates, operating plans/forecasts/reviews, World Wide Product Planning, Long Term Strategy (3-year Plan), Budget (1-year Plan)

+ Own PCS product hierarchy and manage all financial system-related requests/decisions across the SBU (e.g. HCFP, OBIEE, Hyperion, etc.)

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and minimum of 8 years of financial work experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and graduate of a financial leadership program with 5 years of financial work experience; or High School Diploma/GED and minimum of 8 years of financial work experience including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews

+ Demonstrated experience and understanding of Accounting Principles and Controllership

+ Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change

+ Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas

+ Demonstrated ability to work in team-environment. Ability to communicate financial performance, business insights, and strategic recommendations to PCS finance team (e.g. CFO, FP&A Leader, etc.) and other senior leadership (e.g. PCS CEO, Segment GMs, etc.)

+ Ability to build/create new processes that can be automated/repeatable and comfortable navigating financial/non-financial ERPs (e.g. Hyperion, Essbase, Oracle, etc.)

+ Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.
