Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

This role involves operating a variety of equipment used in construction, grading, and maintenance.

The operator will be driving a 12K forklift and potentially using a skidsteer.

Tasks include lifting pallets of glass solar panels cautiously to prevent breakage and using spotters effectively.

The operator will also be tasked with performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, and referring any defects or necessary repairs to the supervisor.

Complete additional tasks include building roads, grading, installing silt fence, earth dikes, substation pads, etc.

Work Environment

The work environment is a non-residential construction site, predominantly outdoors. Candidates will be working in extreme temperature conditions and should be comfortable handling these conditions. The work is very fast paced and comes with daily production goals that must be met. The grounds are uneven, and the operator must be comfortable walking in these conditions across areas of 1000+ acres.
