Job Description
As a Senior Commercial Strategy Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our commercial vision for one of our largest brands Cheez-It! Help lead Cheez-It’s market expansion by fostering breakthrough ideas, launching disruptive products, and supporting brand initiatives. This exciting hybrid opportunity can be based in Chicago, IL or Battle Creek, MI.
Our team collaborates with cross-functional partners across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Category Strategy, Revenue Growth Management, Research and Development, as well as Supply Chain. In this role, you’ll excite our customers and drive sales and market share as the sole owner of commercial strategies for Cheez-It! A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing+ Project Management – Regularly handle, oversee, and enhance the visibility of Product Work Requests (PWR’s) necessary for project execution. Timely and accurate delivery of projects and inputs is crucial to success.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration – Close collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to coordinate diverse functions toward common initiatives will be crucial. Your skills in listening, guiding, and influencing will prove valuable.
+ Business Insights – Proactively monitor, analyze, and offer strategic and tactical recommendations for the brand and category. Additionally, you’ll provide valuable insights and solutions to teams based on learnings from both Kellanova and competitive data.
+ Customer Focus – As the voice of our customers and field sales team, this role drives strategies and execution. Leverage your ongoing knowledge of customers and customer plans to create and implement best in class programs to drive results.
We’re Looking for Someone With+ High school diploma with prior experience in commercial strategy or sales
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple competing priorities and deadlines
+ Strong presentation and written and verbal communication skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
+ Strong ability to use and analyze syndicated data such as Nielsen, IRI, Numerator, etc.
+ Proficient in collaborating with individuals across all organizational levels
