Job Description

Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description

As a Lab Technician, you will perform various tests including pH, viscosity, density, solids, titrations, degree, and flash point on production batches, raw materials, and competitive products. You will manage a database for sample, production retains, and documentation from production. Your role is crucial in supporting the manufacturing processes by providing guidance to adjust batch formulations to meet product specifications. Additionally, you will prepare certificates of analysis for customers, calibrate and maintain lab instruments and operations equipment, prepare sample batches for customers and the sales team, perform stability testing on laboratory and manufacturing samples, and communicate with outside laboratories for external tests. You will also serve as a resource for correct product label confirmation.

Hard Skills

+ BS degree in a relevant field

+ Laboratory experience focused in chemistry or quality control

+ Experience in calibrating and maintaining lab instruments

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Countryside, Illinois.

Work Environment

Chemical manufacturing facility with a very clean and up-to-date lab. The team consists of about 8-10 people. Work hours are first shift Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3pm, with a standard 40-hour work week.
