Job Title: Food Chemist

Job Description

+ Manage food chemistry testing laboratory.

+ Conduct research and experiments to develop new food products and processes.

+ Analyze and modify food ingredients to improve nutritional value.

+ Develop methods for preserving and processing food products.

+ Evaluate the quality of food ingredients and products.

+ Develop food safety protocols.

+ Create food recipes and formulas.

+ Design and test food packaging.

+ Communicate with other departments to ensure food products meet customer specifications.

+ Determine the nutritional content of food.

+ Analyze chemical composition and structure of food.

+ Research new food sources.

+ Identify and develop new preservatives, additives, and food processing techniques to enhance quality and safety.

+ Analyze raw materials.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s in Food Science, Food Chemistry, or in a related field

+ 2 Years of lab experience in a food chemistry related lab
