Job Description
Seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the relocation of manufacturing lines from Portland to Arlington Heights. This role involves comprehensive management of the project, including planning, dismantling, transporting, and reassembling manufacturing cells, as well as ensuring the validation of equipment. The Project Manager will handle over 10 manufacturing cells and various aspects related to sales, pilot builds, and testing PPAPs. Responsibilities also include managing both the shipping processes in Portland and the receiving processes in Arlington Heights, making necessary building modifications, and monitoring the setup of new cells.
Hard Skills
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field
+ 10+ years’ Project Management or Project Leadership experience
+ Experience with large-scale, rolling action capex projects
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Project
+ Knowledge of Quality Systems (e.g. TS, ISO9001, AS9100)
+ Understanding of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques
Soft Skills
+ Strong planning and organizational skills
+ Ability to operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines
+ Effective communication skills for reporting to high-end stakeholders
