Architectural Product Designer(Not UX/UI, repeat NOT UX/UI)Graphic design, industrial design, web or UX/UI design backgrounds are NOT applicable- must have experience within architecture and familiarity with building construction process.Job Description:

As a Rhino Designer, you will develop drawings and documentation through the project lifecycle from design to engineering, ensuring successful implementation at each stage and facilitating clean handoffs. You will communicate schedule and project needs to ensure accurate loading and scheduling, while managing your own schedules and project timelines. Your role involves verifying product layout and use, developing custom design solutions, and packaging complete product specifications for Design, Engineering, and Production. You will also work on internal product development or special projects and maintain a physical presence on the Production and Assembly floor as scheduled.

Qualifications:

+ B.Arch or M.Arch degree

+ Graphic design, industrial design, web/UX/UI design are not applicable

+ 1-3 years experience in a commercial architecture firm

+ This does not include internship experience or experience outside of the United States

+ Must be immediately local to Chicago, no relocation

+ Design experience: floor plans layouts, interior design, or rendering

+ Construction document experience: Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCPs), Construction Details, such as millwork details, or ceiling details, Schedules, such as room finishes, door hardware

+ Rhino 3D and Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) experience required

+ Experience with Grasshopper/Dynamo, Revit/AutoCad preferred

+ Visualization skills in VRay, 3DS Max, etc. also a plus
