Job Title: Design Engineer – Project EngineerJob Description
Join our dynamic team as a Design Engineer where you will be responsible for applying principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to design, develop, test, and evaluate software and systems integral to computer functionality. You will modify existing databases, manage database systems, coordinate database development as part of a project team, and handle project estimations. A crucial part of your role will be to build, test, and validate injectors, contributing to improvements based on your findings. Your typical day will include team meetings to discuss activities, guidance, and new technologies, with a focus on hands-on analysis and results delivery.
Hard Skills
+ Basic knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
+ Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes
+ Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software
+ Knowledge of computer development software across multiple platforms
+ Experience using Creo
Soft Skills
+ Verbal and written communication skills

+ Customer service and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
+ Willingness to work hands-on
+ Ability to interpret design-related validation and analysis results
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 52 Weekly.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Pontiac, Illinois.
Work Environment
The role involves working in an environment with 75% office and 25% factory setting. You will not operate any machinery but will be required to wear PPE on the factory floor. Flexibility is key, with some travel involved (0-25%).
