Job Title: Quality Engineer (PPAP)

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer with a keen understanding of the PPAP process and experience in manufacturing environments. The role entails working closely with customers to ensure timely submission of quality documentation and involves responsibilities such as updating PPAP documentation and Control Plans for manufacturing. Candidates will also have the opportunity to engage in corrective action reporting and may be involved in making basic edits to CMM programs.

Hard Skills

+ Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

+ 2+ years of experience in metals or plastics manufacturing

+ Experience in creating and editing PPAP documents up to level 3

+ Understanding of Control Plan process and First Article Inspection reporting

+ Exposure to CMM programming

+ Knowledge of part tolerancing and GD&T

Soft Skills

+ Ability to work closely with customers

+ Ability to ensure timely documentation

+ Willingness to train on new processes
