Launched in 2023, Integrated Services creates and markets new customer experiences by integrating hardware, software and services across Ford Blue, Model e and Ford Pro. These products and services allow Ford’s retail and commercial customers to customize their vehicles like never before with OTA (over-the-air)-driven experiences that grow better over time. What you’ll do…

Our BlueCruise Product team collaborates with the go-to-market team, ADAS engineering team, Digital Design, and other product teams to build & ship the most confidence inspiring driver assistance technology in the market. We are looking for experienced digital product managers who have experience and enthusiasm around connecting customers to complex technology, have a passion for growing others, and are motivated to be challenged as we build the future of advanced driving at Ford.

This leader will be charged with connecting Ford customers to the discovery, trial, purchasing, and operation of complex ADAS technology in a highly engaging but simple experience. In close partnership with the go-to-market team, subscription technology and journey teams, and customer channels (Mobile, Web, In-Vehicle), this leader will drive a BlueCruise Discovery & Activation roadmap that underpins the trial and subscription experience with BlueCruise.

This role will be charged with managing a large & complex stakeholder map using clear communication skills- including the ability to articulate a product discovery & activation roadmap from the context of an end-to-end customer journey, develop concise requirements through PRDs, and communicate strategies clearly and timely to leadership.

+ Collaborate with BlueCruise Go-to-market, ADAS Tech Strategy, and Digital Product teams on the end-to-end vision, strategy, and product activation roadmap for BlueCruise.

+ Develop and manage a clear end to end customer product journey, and deliver a roadmap that clearly addresses major gaps in the customer’s discovery, trial, purchase, and renewal journey steps.

+ Manage the relationship between BlueCruise Activation Product deliverables, go-to-market/business objectives, and subscription technology platform (SSP) enablers to deliver BlueCruise subscription functionality that meets the needs of our customers and the market.

+ Contribute towards the ongoing development and delivery of BlueCruise’s functional roadmap, based on clear and well communicated understanding of viability, feasibility, and desirability from customers.

+ Lead a matrixed team across a Digital Design / Product Management / Engineering triad to deliver major aspects of the BlueCruise discovery & activation product roadmap.

+ Become the undisputed expert on existing & potential customers of L2 driving products, their behaviors, wants, needs, and motivations.

+ Conduct primary research (interviews, surveys, etc.)? to inform all aspects of your product roadmap.

+ Talk to customers, visit dealers, experience competitive products to inform your roadmap’s priorities and requirements.

+ Collect and analyze product data to inform major strategic decisions around the BlueCruise roadmap.

+ Write clear and concise product requirements in the form of PRDs that articulate the vision, goals, and key elements of new BlueCruise features. Communicate and drive requirements forward across a wide stakeholder map of Engineers, Designers, Project Managers, and Business Leaders.

+ Coordinate with relevant engineering teams to assess feasibility and viability; drive delivery timing of complex vehicles Software changes in support of the Product Roadmap

+ Manage & make tradeoff decisions on BlueCruise product features based on input from customer desirability, delivery feasibility & complexity, product viability, and business strategy. Clearly communicate tradeoff proposals to Sr. Leadership to gain alignment.

+ Practice empathy on a daily basis – and contribute towards a dynamic, fast moving team

This position is posted as remote unless the selected candidate lives within 50 miles of an office, then it will be hybrid.

Occasional travel expected.

You’ll have…

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Design, Computer Science, or related field

+ 6+ years of digital Product Management experience, having shipped successful digital products in the past.

+ 3+ years of people management experience

Even better, you may have…

+ Experience or exposure working with subscription products, with a strong understanding of relevant customer behavior engaging with them.

+ Masters Degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, Psychology/Human Factors, Fine Arts, Communications, or related field.

+ Exceptional communication skills with a proven record of creating, documenting, and presenting product strategy and features.

+ Experience with conducting product discovery and user validation.

+ Experience working with product designers, engineers, and business partners

+ Familiar with agile framework.

+ Conviction to always do what’s best for customers, with a humility to listen and learn.

+ Flexibility to adapt to change and influence in a dynamic environment.

+ Foundational, analytical, and technical: you can collect and analyze data from various sources, identify key insights, spot optimization opportunities, and inform product decisions.

+ Comfortable in highly ambiguous scenarios and with problem solving across a highly matrixed organizational environment.

+ Are entrepreneurial, independently driven, inventive, and able to deliver results with minimum direction.

+ Experience regularly presenting and communicating to executive leadership, especially through Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) ?

+ Strong product intuition with a passion for creating innovative, experience-driven products.
