Job Title: Workers Compensation Plant Rep III

Job Description

As the primary Workers’ Compensation Claims Handler at the plant, you will deliver excellent customer service, ensure quality claims handling, and manage loss costs effectively. This plant-based role considers a hybrid work schedule. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and processing complex or technically difficult workers’ compensation claims, managing a full case load with cases of increased severity, and handling Workers’ Compensation Lost Time claims. You will develop action plans for timely and cost-effective resolutions, manage reserves, make timely claim payments, and manage claim recoveries. Additionally, you will coordinate with vendors for further investigation or litigation management, use cost containment techniques, and handle communications with claimants and clients.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of a year, first shift Monday – Friday.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Chicago, Illinois and some days remote.
