MindPoint Group is seeking a Recruiting Manager that will help set the standards of company excellence by recruiting the most qualified personnel for the company and leading a great team of Recruiting and Resource Management professionals. The Recruiting Manager is expected to make a high-impact contribution to the Talent Acquisition team by overseeing the recruiting processes, directing sourcing and employer branding initiatives, directly managing recruiting team members to success, and contributing to leadership goals and strategies. This position will also manage the internal Resource Management staff and processes.

This position will be heavily involved with the training and development of staff, implementation of MindPoint Group (MPG) policies and procedures to ensure that all employees follow guidelines and provide on the job coaching and training as needed. Not only will the candidate cultivate and draw top-notch Cybersecurity professionals in the field, the candidate will also help further MindPoint Group brand recognition as a Cybersecurity thought leader and an employer of choice. This will involve full life cycle recruiting and the ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers, executives, candidates, and the community at large.

The Recruiting Manager will perform the following duties:

What you get to do everyday:

Management

+ Manage full cycle recruiting process ensuring a positive candidate experience.

+ Work with recruiting team members to develop, implement, and execute hiring strategies for open requisitions & proposals.

+ Create and maintain best practices for recruiting, diverse sourcing, and internal resource management.

+ Cultivate and maintain an ongoing strong and trustworthy working relationship with the company leadership team to understand the business, facilitate workforce planning strategies, and create a partnership that ensures an efficient hiring process.

+ Manage the recruiting team to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies to create consistent candidate flow and pipeline to meet monthly and annual recruiting goals.

+ Support training for staffing activities such as interview skills, ATS utilization, etc.

+ Managing day-to-day customer service interaction with Program Managers, including daily information flow, problem solving, and training for ATS and internal ticketing system with a focus on continuous process improvements.

+ Leads the Resource Management internal employee mobility and redeployment processes successfully.

+ Manage and oversee recruiting and resource management documentation by maintaining the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and tool specific job aides.

+ Manage the internal Labor Category review process for all hires

+ Work with Marketing to develop and implement employer branding strategy to improve sourcing.

+ Responsible for all aspects of hiring and performance management for the recruiting and resource management team.

+ Maintains internal Confluence space

Reporting

+ Provide weekly status reports to the Director of Operations to include time to fill, vacancy status, candidate pipeline, etc.

+ Maintain reporting metrics and generate reports on a regular basis for the entire recruiting team as well as track and analyze results of sourcing activities every month.

+ Manages Unanet Resource Management activity in conjunction with the MPG Resource Management representative.

Recruiting

+ Drive offer process – including extending offers, closing candidates, and generating offer letters.

+ Call, screen, and qualify candidates (as needed) and assist them through the recruitment process.

+ Act as a liaison between interviewers and hiring managers, as needed, and facilitate the interview and hiring discussions

+ Utilize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to identify staff vacancies, prepare and post position descriptions, recruit, interview, and provide recommendations for follow-on interviews to management for qualified candidates and assist with all other matters related to the hiring process.

+ Responsible for updating and managing data within ATS.

+ Assessing and reviewing background checks as required.

+ Utilize creative marketing, sourcing strategies and techniques to attract key talent, to include but not limited to utilizing the following sourcing efforts: internet advertising, social media, employee referrals, attendance at career and job fairs, cold calling, and serve as a corporate liaison with schools and universities.

Proposal Recruiting

+ Detail oriented and familiar with reading RFPs to ensure requirements are accurately translated into requisitions.

+ Understanding and experience in translating various labor categories and qualifications to ensure accuracy and compliance as well development of meaningful job postings.

+ Supports the development of proposal recruiting position descriptions and requisitions.

+ Track timelines and staffing requirements for all active proposals.

+ Works with the Growth team to determine resource allocation based on priorities to include but not limited to ensuring key personnel and staffing needs are met for RFP’s and BD staffing needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities

+ Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.

+ Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

+ Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

+ Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications

What skills do you need?

+ Bachelor-s degree or 4 years relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

+ 7 or more years- experience recruiting for IT and Cybersecurity professionals in a corporate or environment.

+ Full life-cycle technology recruiting including, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, job analysis, offers, closing and relationship management.

+ Prior government contracting & proposal experience.

+ Previous experience managing a high-volume requisition workload of open IT and Cybersecurity positions.

+ Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

+ Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with professionals at all levels.

+ Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

+ Strong leadership skills.

+ Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

+ Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

+ US citizenship is required

+ Prior experience using Clear Company ATS.

+ Prior experience using Unanet GovCon.

+ Jira Service Desk ticketing experience.

+ Experience with successful management of a department budget

+ SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential

+ SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential

Physical Requirements

+ Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

+ Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $145K – $155K.
