We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Deductions Analyst in the manufacturing industry, based in Chicago, IL. The role is primarily focused on deductions, chargebacks and cash applications. The candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving customer deductions and claims within the assigned portfolio of accounts. The role involves analyzing and understanding various types of deductions and resolving them accurately while maintaining a proactive approach in communicating discrepancies and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
+ Process all deductions and chargebacks accurately and timely.
+ Research and resolve deductions such as delivered quantities discrepancies, pricing issues, promotional allowances.
+ Tracking and resolving unauthorized retailer deductions through thorough research, leveraging internal resources, and direct customer negotiation.
+ Communicate with customers, sales representatives, and other internal departments, as necessary, to resolve outstanding issues.
+ Provide necessary documentation to key stakeholders for new or existing deductions.

Requirements+ At least 5 years experience in deductions, trade promotions, Consumer Packaged Goods or related field.
+ Knowledge of deductions, chargebacks, and trades.
+ Ability to research and resolve deductions questions and inquiries.
+ Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas.
+ Experience with D365 is a plus.
