Position Overview:

The ITAD Technician is responsible for performing customer specific configuration on technical equipment to customer specifications and will perform first level troubleshooting on new and customer returned equipment.

What you'll do as theITAD Technician:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Follows customer computer system hardware and software specifications based on the refurbishment and configuration services being performed and instructions supplied.
Complies with departmental training certification requirements based on configuration level.
Troubleshoots malfunctioning units using efficientproblem-solvingtechniques and departmental procedures.
Researchhardware and software literature to keep abreast on new product / service developments and announcements.
Works with lead Technicians on difficult to solve problems or configurations.
Imaging and configuration of mobile devices.
Asset/inventory tracking.
What you will bring to the team:

We are seeking candidates with the following experience and skills

Education/Certification:

High School Diploma
Certifications etc.

A+ preferred or equivalent
Required Experience:
Technical background/school preferred
IT Hardware repair experience
Experience with Microsoft Office 2010, Word and Excel
Sense of urgency
Strong attention to detail
Prompt, motivated self-starter
Strong interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills
Easily adaptable
