Job Scope

The Supervisor, Equipment Maintenance will be responsible for:

* The Manufacturing floor's overall maintenance, which includes ensuring equipment is operated and maintained according to manufacturer specification
* Prioritizing equipment repairs, creating and following preventive maintenance schedules, supervising maintenance technicians/engineers, and inspecting and testing equipment
* Conducting regular inspections of all mechanical processes and machinery in the manufacturing department

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise the maintenance staff and schedule for preventative and critical tasks
Responsible for Manufacturing Plant Maintenance-mainly equipment maintenance, new equipment installations, some PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
Oversee the safety and appearance of manufacturing equipment
Supervises and supports the oversight of Total Preventative and Predictive Maintenance (TMP)
Provides guidance and resolution to technical and operational problems
Ensures employees are trained on safety procedures and all applicable regulatory requirements
Responsible for tracking and documenting all maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
Establishes priorities and equipment needs for maintenance and repairs
Responsible for tools and equipment required for maintenance, as well as preventative maintenance related spare parts inventory
Ensures that all equipment is completely inspected at least once a year and is calibrated based on the manufacturer's recommendations or government standards
Supervises activities for direct and indirect reports
Ensures the ready status of idle equipment
Interacts with various internal and external groups to facilitate the proper maintenance of manufacturing equipment
