Title: UX Designer (Part-Time)
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 12 Months
Duties: 1. Collaborate effectively with different roles and stakeholders (marketing, business, technical) in order to gain a clear understanding of requirements and key problems to be addressed via design 2. Use data and research to inform overall direction as well as how best to iterate on new and existing solutions 3. Utilize industry-leading tools and best practices to clearly articulate designs, user flows, and prototypes 4. Interact with developers and QA testers to ensure alignment and successful delivery 5. Collaborate with the Digital Experience Team to analyze design effectiveness and to create testing scenarios that will enable informed iteration and improved conversion rates
Skills: 1. 3+ years of UX designer experience with an available online portfolio 2. Established proficiency with prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, etc. 3. Understanding of WCAG and how best to incorporate accessibility into designs 4. Demonstrated ability to tailor designs to different device types (desktop vs. responsive) 5. Knowledge of the latest UX/UI trends and best practices 6. Experience with Agile methodology 7. Ability to effectively communicate and work with technical and non-technical teams/stakeholders 8. Experience supporting different business types (B2B preferred)
Education: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Programming or related field preferred.2. Minimum three years web design experience including knowledge of web, Dreamweaver, PhotoShop, and Flash.
