Major Duties

 

Classification: Non-Exempt/Non-Bargaining
Position may be located remote. #LI-Remote
The Inside Sales & Loyalty Lead  facilitate the group of sales representatives they are assigned. They assist the Sales Manager in communicating sales targets and sales plans to the team. This will help them ensure that everyone is on the same page and working towards the same goal. They will work with the Inside Sales Manager to help onboard new employees, monitoring key sales metrics and help deliver on benchmarks set by the Manager for individual and team success.

Responsibilities

 

Generate interest and develop new and renewal Small Business sales opportunities using outbound cold emails, cold calls, inbound calls and lead follow-ups.
Takes part in Small Business customer acquisition, upgrade, retention and loyalty campaigns.
Leverage a professional, consultative sales process to ensure the best fit of products and services for Small Business customers and prospects; maximizing revenue and profitability for the company, while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
Understand and communicate to new and existing customers the benefits of buying additional services and committing to a term agreement.
Field Small-Business disconnect calls in order to execute a "save" by reasserting the value of Consolidated services.
Make outbound calls to prior subscribers in order to win them back as customers.
Keep up-to-date with CCI's product and service information as well as competitive offers and understand how CCI compares. Service as subject matter expert for rest of team
Provides guidance, direction and support for a variety of pre and post-contract Sales activities and requirements.
Understands billing, quoting and related systems to track customer activity, revenue and commissions.
Provides feedback to leadership on improving workflow and sales practices including the preparation of the proper documentation needed to place orders for service.
Assists with streamlining business processes for their inside sales team "pod."
Help train and coach new employees on the day-to-day tasks and systems required for an Inside Sales Rep and be prepared to lead refresher trainings periodically.
Maintain team dashboards, queues and list views within Salesforce
Be the first escalation point for customers with issue and concerns and provide additional information to manager and other teams when there is a need to escalate further.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

2-year degree in business, finance, marketing or related field, or the equivalent in experience.
3-5 years' experience in the telecommunications industry including sales or broad product experience.
Strong process design and process improvement mindset.
Ability to prioritize and manage project work.
Understanding of sales and customer care roles.
Has demonstrated success within a sales environment
Strong service mindset in order to work with a variety of internal stakeholders.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Skills:
Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
Time management skills and the ability to manage their own sales funnel while also assisting others
Training and coaching skills
Experience working with telephones and handling multiple calls and emails daily
Patience, time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
Excellent numeracy skills for accurate and speedy calculation of sales prices, discounts and percentages
Work Relationship:
Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate and build trusting relationships with the entire inside sales team and across the entire sales organization.
Work Conditions/Equipment:
Work performed indoors with physical activity consisting of normal office work. Occasional travel required. Utilize basic office machines and computer equipment daily.

Salary

 

Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $45k - $55k annual plus commission
