Function: Finance & AccountingJob Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining the credit risk associated with CF's sales revenue of approximately $6 billion. The Company has hundreds of agricultural and industrial customers that range in size from very large national companies to small private companies. Financial Credit Analyst is responsible for periodic analysis of accounts to identify those that may require difficult collection procedures. The incumbent also performs investigations on existing customers to obtain all the necessary information.The Financial Credit Analyst ll is responsible for performing CF Industries' credit & collection functions, which includes assisting the Credit Supervisor in maximizing review approval rates while minimizing past dues.

Major Responsibilities

The Financial Credit Analyst is responsible for providing quantitative and qualitative information and analysis to formulate CF's credit practices.

Assist in generating periodic reports on delinquencies and assessing the effectiveness of collection partner(s).

Analyzes customer and supplier financial statements to determine viability of customers and assess credit worthiness. Calculates financial metrics and ratios, identifies performance risks.

Work closely with the Credit Supervisor to monitor compliance with collections policies, procedures, and results.

Reports on credit worthiness of customers through credit applications, D&B, S&P, Moody's, NACM, and financial statements.

Under moderate supervision while monitoring customer activity and recommends revisions to credit levels and limits as needed.

Investigates order holds due to credit issues and recommends resolutions in a timely manner.

Conducts and investigates open items leading to past due invoices, communicates with customers to gather information, and seeks payment on accounts in arrears.

Incumbent will need to work within deadlines and outside regularly scheduled hours, including rotating weekends on-call.

Incumbent Attributes

Education: High School diploma required; bachelor's degree is a plus.

Years of experience: Minimum two years credit/collection experience required

Position Scope/Contribution

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Proficient in MS Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint.

SAP/S4 & Salesforce preferred.

Regularly communicates both in writing and verbally. Communicates with i;ternal and external customers and others related to work function such as a vendor. Information exchanged generally requires intermediate knowledge. Some influence and persuasion may take place with teammates.

May work with increasingly complex challenges or problems. Work entails detailed planning of own activities and immediate work team. Requires using some logic, judgment, option identification and critical thinking skills to assess situations.

Decisions are governed by established policies and procedures within normal job duties based on prior similar situations and precedents. Seeks guidance and decision-making from supervisor or lead for exceptions to standard operating procedures and policies.

Decisions made may impact profit or loss however decisions are governed by organizational policies and not personal independent actions.

May impact the execution or achievement of short-term strategic initiatives but is not involved in the planning
