A Financial Analyst job opportunity is available with our client in Northbrook, IL. In this role you will require experience in an FP&A related role, with specific experience in Month End Close and Forecasting/Budgeting. To be considered for this role you will have a Finance/Accounting degree with a minimum of 8+ years" experience.
A Financial Analyst Job Duties
*Assist with Canada MEC activities, including journal entry preparation, report generation, PO Commitment review, account reconciliations, calendar coordination, variance analysis, and commentary support.
*Gross-to-Net Month End Close activities in Canada, including accrual preparation, variance analysis, review of rebate invoices, and liaise for queries on invoices.
* Forecast cycle support to stakeholders including data validation, presentation support, and variance analysis.
*Ad hoc support for MEC and FC cycle activities accordingly
*Coordination of external audit requests and required support.
*Data validation efforts within financial systems for accuracy and compliance
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
*Solid working knowledge of accounting and internal control standards
*Experience with ERP systems, including SAP S4 / BPC
*Experience with planning tools
*Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
*Experience and demonstrated aptitude leveraging enterprise-grade finance data / reporting systems.
* Experience with Accounting reporting and month end close activities (i.e., journal entry preparation, MEC calendar coordination, account reconciliation preparation, etc.)
*Finance/Accounting degree
*8+ years" experience in an FP&A related role, with specific experience in Month End Close and Forecasting/Budgeting. Pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
