Job Description

Staffmark is currently hiring Warehouse Material Handlers in Elk Grove Village, IL, for a prominent printing company. As a Warehouse Material Handler, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations by efficiently managing materials throughout the production process. Pay Rate: $18.34 per hour

Shifts Available: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm or 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. Rotating schedule.

Responsibilities:

Remove folded signatures from the web press and organize them onto pallets or skids for transport to the warehouse or binding areas.
Adjust stacking mechanisms on the press based on paper dimensions.
Load and unload materials onto/from pallets, carts, and trays.
Transport materials using hand trucks, electric dollies, or other equipment.
Record material movements on daily production sheets and label containers.
Maintain cleanliness on the manufacturing floor and manage waste processing.
Assist the Press Crew with equipment setup tasks and quality checks.
Support inventory control of raw materials, finished goods, and dies.

Requirements:

Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.
Wear steel-toed safety shoes, earplugs, and safety goggles as required.
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
