The role of the AM Room Service Serveris to create 100% Guest Satisfaction by delivering food and beverage service to restaurant guestsProvide assistance to Bar/Lounge/Restaurant as well as the culinary team:
Make sure the food line and service area are set up and broken down properly.
Organizes all food tickets that are rung in.
Ensure all food is plated within a timely manner and is consistent in presentation.
Organize all orders to be handed off to the food runner for delivery.
Ensure accurate delivery of food to the correct position point.
Use the full name of dish, temperature or instructions when delivering food.
Have knowledge of all menu items, their preparation, and ingredients.
Respond appropriately to guest requests.
Communicate guest requests to server as needed.
Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
Has knowledge and skills of various knife-cutting techniques, such as cutting, dicing and slicing. Refined skill set in the knowledge and preparation of garnishes. Has a solid knowledge of pantry positions.
Has a solid knowledge of meat identification and cookery.
Accurate knowledge of cooking temperatures for degrees of doneness.
Has a solid technical knowledge of vegetable preparation.
Has a solid knowledge and ability to prepare different methods of starch cookery, identification, classification and preparation of mother sauces and preparation of basic soups.
Strong knowledge of food safety with critical control temperatures, danger zones, cross contamination, sanitation, food borne illness, toxins and chemical poisoning.
Strong organizational skills which enables the Expeditor to adapt quickly in working in and effectively contributing to the team in various sections of the kitchen (pastry, garde-manger, Room Service, Restaurant, Employee Cafeteria).
Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations:
Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service.
Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems.
Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis.
Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction.
Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest.Requirement/Skills
Ability to obtain and hold Bartender's License
Must be at least 18 years of age
Excellent customer service skills
Skilled in the use of techniques and strategies required to deliver training material in group and one-on-one settings
Demonstrate ability to relate to, communicate with, and motivate employees to sustain high performance and quality levels
Highly organized - demonstrate ability to proactively prioritize needs, put first things first, and effectively manage resources and time
Physical Demands
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
Able to setup and take down tables, chairs, stages, and other banquet meeting fixtures
