Join our team at Insight as a Services Technician in a fast-paced Light Industrial/Warehouse environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing configuration, modification, repair, testing, and servicing on a variety of IT devices, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Overtime may be required during high-volume business periods to support our operations and client needs.

Key Requirements
Configuration of hardware including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and servers.
Deployment of images and customization of software based on work instructions.
Troubleshooting and identifying system hardware problems.
Quality control inspections and reporting.
Time management for efficient resource utilization.
Proficiency in SAP and Excel software for order processing.
Maintenance and protection of Insight assets and property.
Professional representation of Insight and effective communication with associates and clients.
Documentation completion for accurate billing and warranty tracking.
Efficient space utilization in the lab.
Ability to use a pallet jack for moving equipment.

What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree or 2 years of related experience in IT services
Experience with PC's, messaging, server software applications, and basic scripting
Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, imaging software, and hardware troubleshooting
A+ certification and vendor hardware certification
Bench and on-site service technical experience
High level of technical proficiency with IT equipment
Knowledge of major desktop operating systems and assembly/re-assembly of devices
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to stay current with technology trends
Data entry accuracy and multitasking abilities
Effective communication and customer service skills
Familiarity with warehouse and safety procedures

The base hourly rate for this position is typically $20/hr with additional bonus and benefits available. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.
