What you will be doing
Under general direction of the Senior Director of Diversion Control and Security, responsible for managing and directing the Cencora diversion control or security programs, including and not limited to the Order Monitoring Program (OMP), know your customer due diligence efforts, physical and personnel security, and all internal and external investigations impacting the Company.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervise the activities of diversion control teams as they carry out their duties in support of the Controlled Substance Monitoring Program (CSMP).
2. Direct, review and approve new and existing customer due diligence and Suspicious Order Monitoring investigations.
3. Act as lead in the development and management of assigned CSMP projects, reports, databases, research and analysis.
4. Collaborate and communicate with various Cencora functional teams, as well as federal, state and local law enforcement and regulatory agencies.
5. Assist with internal and external audits and investigations to insure regulatory and compliance standards are being maintained.
6. Ensure the CSMP is adhering to all legal regulatory requirements that fall within the purview of assigned area of responsibility, such as controlled substance loss reporting, suspicious customer orders.
7. Responsible for all personnel management functions for department staff, including hiring, terminating, performance management, development and training.
8. Maintain updated policies and procedures outlining and governing functional activities and responsibilities.
9. Create and administer training to Cencora associates and external customers as necessary.
10. Coordinate and oversee internal and external onsite visits and investigations; ensure the timely and comprehensive documentation of those activities.
11. Manage relationships, contract terms and work products with vendors of the CSMP.
12. Manage and maintain effective relationships with Cencora functional teams and customer risk, integrity and compliance programs external to the CSMP.
12. Willingness to travel, approximately 10%.
13. Performs related duties as assigned.
What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires broad training in fields such as criminal justice, regulatory compliance, security or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four (4) year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of education and experience. Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible pharmaceutical distribution and security/investigation/law enforcement experience;
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Strong leadership skills.
2. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
3. Excellent logical, analytical reasoning and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions; ability to resolve associate issues effectively and efficiently.

6. Proficient investigative skills.
7. Excellent organizational, motivational and interpersonal skills.
8. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
