Per Mar Security Services has been a family owned and operated, full-service security company since its inception in 1953. We provide security officer, electronic security, fire alarm and background and investigative services, serving customers in multiple states throughout the Midwest region.
Please Read:
Per Mar Security Services is looking to hire a part-time security officer for a East Peoria, IL cannabis dispensary.
Hours are: Mon/Tue/Thur/Fri. 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
for 16 hours per week. Pay rate is $19 per hour.
Upon hire, you must be able to pass a background check, including a drug screen. You will also need to travel to Davenport, Iowa for our new hire orientation/training.
This is an unarmed position.
Illinois PERC card holder is a plus!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Check identification of guests to ensure they meet age requirements.
- Check business property
- Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues to management
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
Qualifications:
21 years of age or older
Ability to stand long periods
Strong attention to detail
Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
