Wieland is hiring a Warehouse Labor. This role is accountable for the Shipping area, to ensure proper flow is maintained for all outgoing shipments and customer pickups. Shipments must be handled efficiently and staged ready to be shipped in a timely manner.
Starting Pay: $20
Schedule: 8AM - 4PM
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Ability to work independently and safely
Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts
Restock canceled orders
Pack, verify, prioritize and weigh all the orders.
Pull inventory the daily shipments from their locations.
Load outgoing materials onto the trucks for shipment and customer pickups.
Ability to work on feet for 8 hours, carry inventory to 80 pounds and able to work overtime
Prior experience working in a warehouse
Build skids, crates, cut wood to secure freight
Ensuring that all the shipments are secured and packed correctly.
Detail-oriented and multitasking skills
Job cross-training
Daily cleaning assignments and help with other duties as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of Shipping experience
Maintain a positive attitude in a team environment and Safety Conscious
Able to work as part of a team and strong attention to detail
High School diploma or equivalent is required
Occasionally lift 50lbs
Ability to communicate and work with people at all levels of the business - internal and external
