POSITION SUMMARY:
Outside sales position focused on developing additional market presence in the northwest suburbs of Chicagoland. The ideal hire will function as a liaison between the customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the success of meeting the customer's needs. As a Sales Specialists you will be responsible for selling our full line of contractor supplies, safety materials and equipment, lumber, concrete supplies, drywall supplies, and equipment rentals.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with existing team to develop strategies to increase customer base
Develop a trusted relationship with key and prospective accounts
Monitor and analyze customers usage of our products
Communicate in an organized, clear and concise manner to effectively express ideas, plans, actions, and projects to support customer needs
Establish customer and market priorities to execute a strategic plan to accomplish sales goals
Develop and implement strategies to identify new customers
Work with leadership to negotiate contracts with clients
Participate in and improve upon branding
Identify potential new client base for business based on knowledge of customer needs
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
5 + years in proven successful history in sales environment, understanding of the construction industry
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Strong verbal and written communication
Able to manage multiple projects while paying attention to detail
Bachelors degree preferred
