Job Description: Transaction Manager

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transaction Manager to join our team and support a non-profit organization in executing their real estate strategy. This is a remote position, allowing for flexible work arrangements. The Transaction Manager will play a crucial role in lease negotiations, sales, renewals, and related activities to ensure the organization's real estate objectives are met. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven professional with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities:
Transaction Execution:
Independently manage and execute mid to large-size real estate transactions, including leases, sales, renewals, and disposals, with a high level of proficiency and knowledge.
Foster and maintain client relationships, understanding their needs and aligning them with the organization's real estate strategy.
Utilize market knowledge and negotiation skills to achieve favorable economic and flexible lease terms for the client.
Market Analysis and Research:
Gather market data, review market reports, and stay updated on industry trends to provide valuable insights to the client.
Liaise with real estate broker partners nationwide to ensure comprehensive market coverage.
Oversee site selection and evaluation processes, conducting site tours and evaluating prospective properties.
Documentation and Legal Compliance:
Create, review, and manage requests for proposals (RFPs), letters of intent, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and other transaction-related documents.
Collaborate with legal and risk management teams to ensure compliance and mitigate any potential risks.
Conduct thorough due diligence on transaction-related documents and review them with legal and risk departments.
Process Improvement and Project Management:
Develop, implement, streamline, and improve client and JLL transaction processes to ensure flawless execution.
Collaborate with other JLL offices to monitor the progress of transactions and projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, preferably with a focus on non-profit organizations.
Strong negotiating skills and proven ability to secure favorable lease terms.
Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, organizational, and planning skills.
Proficiency in market research, analysis, and financial modeling.
Familiarity with legal and risk management requirements related to real estate transactions.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in utilizing technology and virtual tools for remote collaboration.
