Position Summary:

The Senior Planning, Performance and Governance Manager drives Revenue, Gross Profit and Operating Income (OI) growth for the top Governance Customers representing significant volume and revenue for the company. This position collaborates with the Coca-Cola System Revenue Growth Management (RGM) representatives on the National Core Customer Team (CCT) as well as locally with the Chief Customer Officer, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Franchise leadership to identify Revenue and Margin opportunities.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

+ Lead annual planning process for Revenue, Margin and Volume to include presenting and aligning on sources of growth, price package plans, and executional elements including contingency plans

+ Identify opportunities to growth Revenue/Margin by utilizing segmentation data and other data sources such as Nielsen

+ Align with the Coca-Cola System RGM representatives on growth strategy, planning targets and commercial priorities and inform Commercial and Customer Leadership Team (CCLT) representatives for Coca-Cola System vote on behalf of the company

+ Prepare the Commercial and Customer Leadership Team (CCLT) meetings with updates and the company’s Point of View (POV) on business updates and vote items for Chief Customer Officers

+ Analyze Sparkling Soft Drink (SSD) and Still brand promotional effectiveness

+ Develop Price Strategy and Promotional Calendar during the annual planning process and refinement thru out the year as well as rationalize promotions/improve promotional return on investment (ROI)

+ Lead and manage weekly performance routines, monthly performance reviews and monthly “Deep Dive” sessions to affect results and drive alignment with company strategy

+ Identify non-profitable business and recommend plans to improve margin including but not limited to recommend Occasion, Brand, Package, Price, Channel (OBPPC), regional segmentation etc.

+ Provide input and collaborate with the forecast team on channel forecast by brand by package by week and by month

+ Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) perspective for customer facing business calls and deliver strategic perspective for Region/Local key accounts with designed geography

+ Participate in Customer Program Approval and Communication Tool (CPACT) discussions by providing decision support, market implications and ensuring coherency

+ Coordinate ad-hoc analysis for Sales and Commercialization teams

+ Drive organizational performance, efficiency, and effectiveness by translating analytics into actions and sustainable results

+ Provide strategic thinking and leadership on shopper, competitive and retailer landscape

+ Develop customized solutions for sophisticated governance customers

+ Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field and 6 plus years of experience in the consumer goods/beverages industry or HS Diploma/GED and 9 plus years of experience in the consumer goods/beverages industry

+ Experience building and monitoring annual business plans

+ Ability to draw insights and actions from data

+ Analytical mindset

+ Deep technical knowledge of key data systems, syndicated marketplace information and data, i.e., Nielsen, Dunnhumby forecasting systems, etc.

+ Planning experience i.e., strategic thinking, forward-looking vision, anticipate future need

+ Operations and/or supply chain experience

+ Proven record delivering sustainable results

+ Strong change management capabilities

+ Experience demonstrating innovation and creativity to create business solutions

+ Ability to influence and gain alignment across divergent perspectives

+ Ability to interact with employees at all levels of an organization

+ Strong interpersonal, presentation as well as written and verbal communication skills

+ Exceptional problem-solving skills i.e., identify issues, validate data, and develop solutions

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time, delegate and prioritize workload

+ Ability to comprehend systems, their functionality inclusive of Business Intelligence tools

+ Travel up to 25%

+ This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

+ Master’s Degree or CPA

+ Customer and/or Sales management experience

+ Planning experience at a Regional or Business Unit level

+ Knowledge to rally The Coca-Cola System to increase On Shelf Availability (OSA) and commercial execution efficiencies

+ Deep technical knowledge of key data systems, including internal financial and sales reporting, internal performance management and execution metrics, i.e., RED – Right Execution Daily
