at University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, United States

Job Description

BSD PAT - Chervonsky Lab

About the Department

Pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases is extremely complex. We are interested in organ-specific diseases such as autoimmune diabetes and psoriasis, and we have mouse models for both. Our studies focus on determining how T cells are initially activated in disease pathogenesis, how they home to the target organs, and how they destroy these organs. This at-will position is wholly or partially funded by contractual grant funding which is renewed under provisions set by the grantor of the contract. Employment will be contingent upon the continued receipt of these grant funds and satisfactory job performance.
