We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager in 401 N Michigan Ave, Suite 1400, Chicago, IL 60611 USA. Your mission will be to:
Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Manager develops and implements sourcing and recruiting strategies to proactively attract a strong pool of candidates from which the organization can select the best possible talent. This position establishes best-in-class recruitment practices to meet company expectations on quality and fit of candidates using a cost competitive and innovative approach. Ensure compliance in all recruiting and hiring processes. This position also leads human resources processes as they relate to acquisitions, immigration, relocation.
Functional Leadership
Serve as a subject matter expert on employment and recruiting practices by building strong relationships with various teams and hiring managers; resolving escalated talent acquisition issues in a timely manner.
Proactively advise and train all hiring managers to ensure that best practices for identifying, sourcing, recruiting, and hiring of the best qualified candidates are followed for all open positions.
Proactively research and network to develop expertise in the food safety industry, its talent and recruiting best practices.
Sourcing
Understand the one-time and continual talent needs of the organization.
Identify best sourcing options for all positions and develop options of choice to drive a flow of candidates to the Human Resources Business Partners and hiring managers.
Establish and maintain sourcing strategies that address network wide as well as localized needs for talent
Selection
Maintain and continuously update a competency-based selection process and interview toolkit that enables hiring managers to identify the ideal candidate for each position.
Evaluate and recommend selection tools, such as technical skills assessments, psychometric testing, etc. when needed
Offer
Understand candidate choice drivers and oversee all offers extended
Relocation
Manage the relocation process for all relocatees.
Maintain relationships with preferred relocation partners.
Mergers and Acquisitions
Develop and maintain a merger and acquisition talent process for the company.
Manage the Talent workstream on all mergers and acquisitions.
Systems and Data
Serve as the subject matter expert on our applicant tracking system.
Track goals, metrics and performance of the function, and regularly communicate activity and results to managers and Executive leaders.
YOUR PROFILE
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in human resources or related field, and/or equivalent experience preferred
Five + years Human Resources experience building Talent Acquisition programs
Required skills and competencies:
Strong project management skills
Excellent written, oral and positive influential interpersonal skills required; ability to communicate in both technical and non-technical terms
Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategy into talent acquisition plans
Results-oriented and "hands-on" approach
Strong knowledge of global HR Processes and Policies
Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Must be a problem solver and be able to work independently
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) required
Preferred skills: Experience working and thriving in a rapidly changing environment; and Google for Business; experience with recruiting in the US, Canada and Mexico a plus.
