Coordinator of Student Teaching

Job Description

Prepares and places students in student teaching experiences, and assists with university records and policies as they pertain to student teaching; oversees university supervisors as they work directly with student teachers in the field.

This position for 10 months (August through May). Summer stipend funds are also available for limited summer duties.

Pay is commensurate with qualifications and experience, combined with an excellent benefits package

1. Illinois Type 9 Teaching Certificate
2. Endorsements in Middle & Secondary Education Social Sciences in History, Economics, Government, Psychology, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology and/or related fields.

Generally Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend and evening hours as business needs dictate

Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Remain at a workstation for extended periods
2. Move about in various locations on and off campus as needed to complete day-to-day work
3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis
