Job Description
Job SummaryPrepares and places students in student teaching experiences, and assists with university records and policies as they pertain to student teaching; oversees university supervisors as they work directly with student teachers in the field.
Additional InformationThis position for 10 months (August through May). Summer stipend funds are also available for limited summer duties.
Salary Rate / Pay RatePay is commensurate with qualifications and experience, combined with an excellent benefits package
Preferred Qualifications1. Illinois Type 9 Teaching Certificate
2. Endorsements in Middle & Secondary Education Social Sciences in History, Economics, Government, Psychology, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology and/or related fields.
Generally Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend and evening hours as business needs dictate
Functional ExpectationsMust be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Remain at a workstation for extended periods
2. Move about in various locations on and off campus as needed to complete day-to-day work
3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis
