SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES:
Develops policy and directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training and employee services for the company (Bartlett and Saltillo). Develops and implements a strategic human resources plan for the company that supports the goals and objectives of the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Reviews human resources programs to identify areas for modification to support the company's strategic objectives and goals.
Analyzes wage, salary and benefit plans to determine competitive and consistent remuneration plans for company.
Directs the development and implementation of human resources programs/projects to foster positive image towards company's goals.
Represents management in negotiating collective bargaining agreements. Studies legislation, arbitration decisions and collective bargaining contract to assess industry trends.
Writes and delivers presentations or written documents to corporate officers or government officials regarding human resources policies and practices.
Ensures company compliance with Federal and State law. Oversees the analysis, maintenance and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies or by corporate.
Assumes other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/GUIDELINES:
Bachelor of Science in Business or equivalent discipline. Masters in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred.
Seven to ten years of experience in human resources in a manufacturing environment or equivalent education and experience.
Strong leadership skills with a progression in responsibilities.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at a time.
Ability to project a positive and strategic image to internal and external contacts.
Ability to retain, train and motivate personnel in order to achieve department and company objectives.
This is a fully onsite job at the office located in our Bartlett, IL facility.
Access to our facilities is restricted under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to U.S. Persons (U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, U.S. Nationals, U.S. refugees, asylees, or temporary residents under amnesty provisions ), and to properly licensed foreign persons. Applicants receiving a conditional offer of employment will be required to provide information to determine whether they are subject to these regulations and, if so, to assess their country of chargeability for export control purposes. Additionally, potential employee names will be screened against the Consolidated Screening List (maintained by the United States government) to determine eligibility to receive controlled technical data.
