Overview

Independently facilitates and monitors the effectiveness of training and development programs. Supports the deployment of OD initiatives to achieve Mercyhealth goals and objectives.
Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assess training needs and make recommendations for training and development.
Assists in the design, development and evaluation of relevant content that participants can apply to the work environment.
Assists in supporting department and system strategic initiatives that drive results, which includes data analysis, program recommendations and implementation.
Communicates clearly and effectively with all employees from various levels within the organization.
Demonstrates effective presentation and facilitation skills in leading learning and development experiences.
Participates in the onboarding, training and development of leaders.
Completes all work activities in a professional manner, projecting a positive image of the Mercyhealth organization and maintaining department credibility.
Demonstrates effective project management and organizational skills that contribute to our culture of excellence.
Is customer focused in all interactions, maintaining positive working relationships.
Must be able to travel to all Mercyhealth locations in scheduled time frame to deliver OD interventions.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field required. In lieu of degree, 10 or more years of healthcare leadership experience may suffice.
One - two years' experience teaching and /or training required.
Prefer experience in healthcare and supervision.

Skills and Abilities
Strong interpersonal/communication skills, Organizational skills, Knowledge of Organizational Development principles. Effective facilitation skills.
