Job Description
DRW HOLDINGS, LLC IN CHICAGO, IL SEEKS ACCOUNTING MANAGER (POSITION ID AM/IL/L076) TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING JOB DUTIES: Manage accounting function that covers legal entities across several jurisdictions. Lead month-end close process. Collaborate with business leaders to understand business and stay informed with current matters. Collaborate with tax and legal teams. Maintain deep understanding of complex organizational structure as well as accounting requirements for foreign entities. Monthly and annual preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS. Work closely with auditors and foreign regulators to prepare year end work papers and complete other requests. Complete ad-hoc requests from management and leadership. 40% Telecommuting permitted.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Accounting or related field
Experience: 7 years of public and/or corporate accounting experience
Experience to include: (1) Trading firms, hedge funds, or asset management firm experience; (2) Foreign Accounting experience; (3) Complex organizational structure; (4) Excel; (5) Great Plains or NetSuite or QuickBooks; (6) GAAP; and (7) Budgeting and expense analysis.
40% Telecommuting permitted.
