Overview
Starting pay for this position is $17.60/hour
Monday-Friday; 7:00am-3:30pm
POSITION SUMMARY: The Groundskeeper maintains and cares for facility grounds including lawn areas, flower beds, plants, bulbs and flowers, shrubbery and trees. A groundskeeper performs preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment such as utility tractors, garden and lawn equipment, snow plows, chainsaws and all transportation vehicles. Assists with general custodial duties such as washing walls and windows; transports and disposes of solid waste and performs general outside maintenance duties.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School/GED
Other Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license
Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Experience in landscaping and groundskeeping.
Other requirements/information: Basic understanding of general maintenance principles and the basic skills necessary to perform rudimentary maintenance tasks.
