Target hiring range for this position will be between $56,782-$79,850 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Job Summary:       

The Department of Medical Education is the unifying force behind all health professions educational programming, innovation and scholarship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and its affiliated institutions. The Department encompasses many of the programs that make Feinberg unique and extraordinary, and central to its mission is the support, development and recognition of Feinberg faculty members in their roles as educators.

Sr. Program Coordinator provides direction in reviewing & recommending strategy, policy & procedure designed to enhance excellence within the Department of Medical Education and its education units.  Ensures the effective, compliant & efficient management of operational and business functions in support of the Department’s mission & in coordination with central offices such as HR, Budget, Facilities, IT & Provost. Represents the Department on internal & external administrative affairs by recommending alternatives & suggestions.

The Sr. Program Coordinator is the primary administrator, supporting both the Master of Science in Health Professions Education (MS-HPE) program and Feinberg Academy of Medical Educators (FAME), as well as health professions education initiatives, events and programs across Feinberg, and special projects for the Department.

 

Specific Responsibilities: 

Administration

  • Oversees & ensures that day-to-day operations are appropriately managed, efficient and effective.
  • Develops, maintains & reports on quantitative and qualitative performance measures.
  • Oversees documentation of agreements between NU and partner organizations, ensuring that agreements are completed, appropriately reviewed, approved, and adhered to by all parties.
