Role Summary
The Sr. Integrations Engineer will analyze, design, develop, and deploy integration solutions on the Boomi platform for Rivian's Supply Chain and Logistics System. This role involves collaborating with IT teams, managing multiple integration projects, and ensuring that business and technical requirements are met through rigorous testing and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will support operational continuity by maintaining existing interfaces and delivering key sprint and project deliverables within SCRUM frameworks. This position will be based onsite in either Normal, IL or Plymouth, MI and will report to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Integrations.
Responsibilities
Analyze, design, develop, and deploy integration solutions on Boomi platform for Rivian's Supply Chain and Logistics System collaborating with IT teams to support critical systems and operations.
Deliver key sprint and project deliverables prioritized and groomed during SCRUM sessions with the stakeholders keeping timelines in check.
Run several Integration projects in parallel, manage tasks, backlogs, timelines, test cycles, deployments, and hyper-care activities.
Run test cycles with all the integrated apps and ensure the business and technical requirements are met with the interface development.
Work cross-functionally within Supply Chain team (Purchasing, Logistics, Quality and Program Management) and external teams (Engineering, Production Control, Warehouse, Service and Finance) to assist with Interfaces within Enterprise systems.
Work with EDI and IT (Dev, Integrations & ERP) team to ensure operational continuity of the business-critical transactions.
Provide operational support and maintenance of existing interfaces to ensure seamless and effective Rivian Operations.
Qualifications
5-6+ years of experience with middleware and iPaaS platforms and expertise in ETL practices; Boomi experience is preferred.
Proven experience with Boomi AtomSphere, including Processes, Maps, Atoms, Molecules, APIs & data management capabilities.
Strong understanding of EAI patterns and strategy with hands-on experience of most if not all B2B and A2A interfaces.
Strong knowledge in Web services and API technologies (REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, XSLT, JMS, etc.)
Proficiency with message formats such as JSON, XML, SAP IDOCS, X12 and EDIFACT, etc.
Solid experience with JavaScript, Python, Groovy Script, and Java.
Experience in delivering solutions confirming to the required Security standards (e.g., SSL/mutual SSL, SAML, OAuth) is a must.
Hands-on experience developing EDI mapping Interfaces adhering ANSI X12 and UN/EDIFACT standards:
o 850/ORDERS, 855/ORDRSP, 860/ORDCHG, 830/DELFOR, 862/DELJIT, 866, 856/DESADV, 810/INVOIC, etc.
o 204/IFTMBF, 990, 214/IFTSTA, 210, 304, 315, 928,
Experience handling common communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, SFTP, OFTP2, PGP, MQ, etc.
Cross-functional experience with functional knowledge of Supply Chain domains such as Procurement, Material Planning, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Finance, Program Management, etc.
Experience with AWS framework, GitLab, Kubernetes preferred.
Good to have hands-on skills with database, analytics and data warehouse platforms such as MySQL, Databricks, Tableau (Optional), Excel for business analytics and report generation.
