Job Description

As the Contract Senior Vehicle Cybersecurity (VCS) Auditor at SGS, you will be responsible for performing third-party audits in accordance with SGS procedures and relevant standards. You will have authority over auditing activities, including planning, and overseeing audit teams, and will make informed decisions throughout the audit process. Your role will require you to collect, analyze, and leverage comprehensive audit data to confirm compliance with European Network Exchange Vehicle Cybersecurity (ENX VCS) requirements. Additionally, effective communication with SGS will be essential to resolve any issues outside the audit process, ensuring thorough and compliant audit outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform audits in any capacity in conformance with SGS Global/Local procedures, sector specific schemes and vehicle cybersecurity management system (V-CSMS)
  • Assimilate, understand, and operate the SGS Certification Management System in all activities relating to the position, and to liaise with the Product Managers and Accreditation Manager regarding any changes to its design and implementation.
  • Control teams of auditors as necessary during audit activities.
  • Make decisions based on audit evidence regarding confirmation of compliance with European Network Exchange Senior Vehicle Cybersecurity (ENX VCS) requirements.
  • Gain sufficient audit experience to multiple management system certification schemes.
  • Assist in training other auditors and lead auditors during planned audits or other training sessions.
  • Actively participate in witness audits conducted by SGS, accreditation bodies, or relevant Scheme Owners.
  • Undertake any other activities as directed by the Operations and/or Accreditation Manager.
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

Qualification, Knowledge & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or higher in relevant discipline, or similar.
  • Strong background and extensive knowledge in technical applications encompassing design, development, testing, and maintenance of software application.
  • Certification as a Lead Auditor (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO/SAE 21434, ISO/IEC 27001) and experience in conducting audits and assessing compliance preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and in dynamic environments.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Proven ability to lead teams effectively to achieve set goals and ensure timely completion of audits in accordance with standards.

Travel
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, utilizing automobile or airplane transportation. Some travel may include international destinations with flight durations exceeding 8 hours. Weekend travel may be necessary to fulfill utilization requirements.
